The project faced significant operational hurdles from inception. When I joined, RiseUp Pathfinder was essentially at ground zero – without established processes, documentation, or team coordination systems. The distributed team included specialists across three different time zones, including a designer, video editor, social media manager, community manager, and paid advertising expert, all working independently without cohesive workflows. The founder, as a solopreneur and single parent balancing a demanding full-time job, had limited bandwidth to establish operational infrastructure. Additionally, the first course rank needed to be developed and integrated into the website for purchase, while pricing strategy remained undefined. Creating standardized processes that could accommodate both the diverse project needs and the specific requirements of neurodivergent learners presented a unique operational challenge.

My approach focused on creating a unified operational framework that brought structure to a previously disconnected workflow. I implemented a comprehensive project management solution using Monday.com boards to document all ongoing initiatives, from course development to marketing efforts. Weekly team huddles were established to ensure alignment across all workstreams, while dedicated Slack channels were created for specific functions like brainstorming, content reviews, and approvals. I developed standardized processes for content creation that clearly defined responsibilities, handoffs, and stakeholder involvement at each stage. Additionally, I created a detailed customer journey map that anticipated the experience from initial awareness through course progression, ensuring every touchpoint was optimized for neurodivergent engagement and understanding.

The implementation strategy began with fundamental operational infrastructure. I established a centralized Google Workspace environment to house all company documents, replacing the scattered approach of individual personal emails. Multiple Monday.com boards were created to manage distinct workstreams – social media content, video production, design assets, course development, and paid advertising campaigns. I recruited and onboarded experienced specialists in social media management and PPC advertising to strengthen the team with expertise in developing effective purchase sequences, beginning with lead magnet workbooks specifically designed for neurodivergent individuals. A templated content script document was developed that enabled the video editor to create varying formats (short-form for Instagram, long-form for TikTok) while allowing the designer to extract carousel content for Instagram – all from a single source document. Content scheduling was consolidated through Metricool, ensuring consistent posting cadence across platforms. Communication channels were streamlined through dedicated Slack channels for different functions, while customer email templates were standardized for consistent messaging. For visualization and clarity, I created standard workflow diagrams in Figma for social media processes and predicted customer journey mapping.
